Skills Drills:

Skills Drills

On Friday evening of our October Tournment, Melissa Muha & Dan Clemence collaborated to create Seven Skills Drills! They were a big hit! We'd like to share! Click on any of the links to view a copy of a drill that can be printed.

Keeping Track of Server 1 and Server 2:
Keeping track of server 1 and server 2

The clipboard above has a sample of the scoresheet that will be used for scoring the upcoming tournament. To help keep track of the serve:

  • Place a "1" over each partner that is wearing the Server's wristband
  • Keep the top of the clipboard pointing to the side that is serving
  • We have placed a 3/4" x 6 1/2" piece of paper under each scoresheet that has a one and a two on either end. As the server changes slide the paper up or down to show the correct Server. There is enough friction on the marker that you will not need to trap it under the clip!
Clipboard Part II: you may also create a paper or vinyl sleeve for the "1" "2" marker to slide in and out of -- also the marker may also be made from card stock or vinyl. Adds durability.

We're playing outside at Lexingtopn Green Park!

Once warm weather comes to Michigan we will play outside every Tuesday 5-7pm @ Lexington Green Park in Portage

We often play outdoors other times as the weather allows. We will post those times here. If you join our mailing list or phone tree we will notify you as these opportunities arise.
